I rode with a friend last night to meet up with one of his coworkers I hadn’t met yet. So it’s me, my friend, and this new guy I’d just met, sitting in his living room hangin out. We’re browsing through some music, a little high, and suddenly it sounds like 5 people knocking on the door. His ENTIRE FAMILY SHOWS UP! Brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, thankfully no parents (although I’d be okay with my mom showing up). So after me asking if I have to pretend to be sober, we listened to Wolf Parade and played pool. No one there had heard of them, but everyone really liked what they heard.
Long week, nice Friday night.
